Welcome to the Jewish School
of Aix en Provence

Since 2003, the Gan Rivka kindergarten has hosted children from 2 to 6 years old.
Gan Rivka was so successful that in 2008 a nursery and primary school was created, the Jewish School of Aix en Provence (EJAP), welcoming children aged from 2 to 11. The EJAP Jewish School of Aix en Provence is labeled 'Alliance Israelite Universelle'. Created in 1860, the ‘Alliance Israelite Universelle’ is a major international organization in the field of education and Jewish culture. The EJAP Our school is also officially approved by the French National Education System and students follow the French national curriculum.. The Jewish School of Aix en Provence is the first Jewish Trilingual School in France :

French - English – Hebrew

English and Hebrew are taught every day not only in language classes but also during lunch time, games, sports, arts and computer lessons.
Children coming from English speaking countries or from Israel follow a special program for foreigners in order to learn French.

Each year, EJAP welcomes new non-French speaking students who follow a French immersion program. Teachers are particularly attentive with them to enable them to understand the French class and follow the French national curriculum.
The EJAP's particularly innovative educational project provides transversatility between the teaching of general disciplines (French, mathematics, history, geography, biology) and Jewish education.
The Jewish School of Aix en Provence asserts its identity in a project of 'living together'; open to the world, to diversity, to culture and arts, a project focusing on the Jewish values of the Torah..
